Jared was born in Jeannette, PA but, has lived most of his life in Delaware. first in New Castle County and now in Sussex County. Jared considers himself a Delaware Native. He's had a passion for talk radio since the age of 5 when he used to tape mock radio shows on his parents 8 track recorder that morphed into a somewhat obsession in his teenage years. As a musician, Jared began performing in the public spectrum at the early age of 14 and has honed his craft on stage throughout most of his adult life. Following the dismal lack of success in that venture, he found himself, a newly college graduate, in Sussex County. He found a home at WGMD in January of 2005 as occasional quipster on Dan Gaffney's morning show, and soon became *producer* (i.e. paid occasional quipster.) Soon thereafter, Morris began hosting his own show on Sunday Mornings on WGMD and began acting as fill-in guest host for both the Gaffney Morning Show and the Ron Letterman show. Though relatively new to the community, Morris has experienced a homecoming of sorts and loves it on Delmarva: The main focus of his radio topics. Jared brings a new and unique local voice to WGMD, sometimes funny, sometimes irreverent and sometimes irate he tackles local and social issues with wit, good humor and irrepressible passion. Jared is honored to be a part of the WGMD team. Listen to Jared live Monday thru Saturday nine a.m. to noon on WGMD 92.7 FM
