Thomas Macaulay was a 19th century historian who wrote a four volume work covering English history at the end of the 17th century. He was a fine orator and this work is a great piece of literature as well as being a good study of this time of change in English history where Parliament is finally established as an equal and occasionally dominant party with the monarchy. This podcast is a Librivox audio version of his great work.
