The Bible doesn't have a lot to say about Joseph, the husband of Mary, the mother of Jesus and the podcast this week is the first sermon I've heard devoted to the man. Thaxter Dickey with this sermon provides an interesting look at the man God chose to be the earthly father of His only begotten Son.

I agree that it seems strange to post a study of the observance of Christmas when it's not November or December - it's not even July! The reason this is a perfect time for posting this sermon is because every day of the year is perfect for studying God's word. In addition, it may be easier to study objectively now rather than during the season.
The late Phil Roberts, as you're about to hear, had the wonderful ability to put things into proper perspective and make practical applications of God's word. Listen carefully as Phil Roberts provides us the written truth about this very popular holiday.
