The Funk Doc visits the Old Man in Weimar, Germany, for a reunion of sorts. A year after the two began living on separate continents, they see each other again and do another final live radio show on Bauhaus FM, the University of Weimar's radio station. Focus is on music, and funky music at that, plus a few lengthy conversations in between.

The Funk Doc and Old Man J give it another go from their San Francisco and Weimar homes. It seems the Casual Artscast has become a seasonal podcast. We're trying to change that. Hopefully we can get on to a monthly schedule.

Yeah, yeah. I know it's been a while but that's because there have been great changes in The Old Man's and the Funk Doc's lives. Plus the Old Man was too lazy to edit the raw footage. But we're back and we're going to keep the Artscast alive.

Patriotism, or the lack thereof, in Germany. Plus a few thoughts on why soccer is the only sport in the world where its players are rewarded for acting like pansies. But don't get us wrong: We're big fans of the game, we just hate seeing grown athletes take pride in acting like wimps.

The end is nigh for the Casual Artscast as we know it. Topics include the future of the CA and problems vs. symptoms of problems in the U.S.
