Regarding "Trust", Billboard Magazine said “wonderfully soulful...between John Fogarty and John Gorka...”. My first CD, "This Distant Light", was nominated for a Boston Music Award and featured Mary-Chapin Carpenter guitarist Duke Levin, Catie Curtis and Ellis Paul. Besides working as a performing artist, I have other interests. I'm a Assistant Professor at the Berklee College of Music, where I teach courses on music business. I also wrote for Northeast Performer, the largest music trade publication in the region. I also co-hosted and produced the New England Coffeehouse Hour for 91.9 WUMB, a NPR affiliate in Boston, MA, where I was a DJ and Music Director. Career highlights include a USA State Department tour of the former Soviet Union and feature performances with James Taylor’s brother Livingston, Patty Larkin, John Fahey, Vance Gilbert, and Simon Townshend of The Who. I build wooden boats, fish, kayak and spend summers on the waters off Martha's Vineyard.
