My most recent CD, "Trust", featured Paula Cole guitarist Kevin Barry, bassist Michael Rivard of the Story and folk luminaries The Burns Sisters. Regarding "Trust", Billboard Magazine said “wonderfully soulful...between John Fogarty and John Gorka...”. My first CD, "This Distant Light", was nominated for a Boston Music Award and featured Mary-Chapin Carpenter guitarist Duke Levin, Catie Curtis and Ellis Paul. Besides working as a performing artist, I have other interests. I'm a Assistant Professor at the Berklee College of Music, where I teach courses on music business. I also wrote for Northeast Performer, the largest music trade publication in the region. I also co-hosted and produced the New England Coffeehouse Hour for 91.9 WUMB, a NPR affiliate in Boston, MA, where I was a DJ and Music Director. Career highlights include a USA State Department tour of the former Soviet Union and feature performances with James Taylor’s brother Livingston, Patty Larkin, John Fahey, Vance Gilbert, and Simon Townshend of The Who. I build wooden boats, fish, kayak and spend summers on the waters off Martha's Vineyard.
